About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine duties in the behavioral health unit within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. Care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Additional duties related to the work described may also be assigned.

Schedule

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three days per week, every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in North Carolina in good standing
• BLS certification from an approved organization
• De-escalation training within 30 days of hire

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must possess full range of body motion to pass the basic FIT test for the position, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
