Responsibilities

  • Supporting and adhering to all Nursing Service and administrative policies and procedures
  • Providing top-notch care in strict accordance with established hospital protocols
  • Serving as an advocate for individual patients to ensure they receive the highest level of care and attention
  • Interacting with patients and their families with the utmost respect, maintaining dignity and strict confidentiality at all times
  • Maintaining clear and professional communication with patients, families, and fellow healthcare team members
  • Efficiently utilizing hospital resources, equipment, and supplies to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintaining openness to temporary reassignments to different areas or work functions based on hospital needs
  • Ensuring full compliance with all state and federal guidelines, rules, and regulations
  • Remaining composed under pressure and effectively coping with challenging clinical situations
  • Accepting and completing delegated tasks within your professional scope of practice
  • Responding promptly to patient needs using a calm, engaging, and professional approach
  • Accurately documenting all required patient information in the appropriate medical records
  • Actively participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives and adhering to all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook
  • Performing other clinical or administrative duties as assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

  • Current and valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Texas
  • Current CPR certification is required
  • Previous experience in a similar clinical or hospital role is preferred
  • A genuine, demonstrated interest in the well-being and recovery of patients
