Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Visiting Angels’ office in Webster Groves is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate care to senior adults and those in need in the St. Louis area, including Webster Groves, Kirkwood, Brentwood, Maplewood, Richmond Heights, Chesterfield, Ladue, and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for individuals committed to giving back to their community while broadening their skills in home and elderly care.

A CNA with Visiting Angels Webster Groves supports seniors with a wide range of responsibilities, from light housekeeping and meal preparation to mobility assistance and transportation. This position also offers opportunities for personal growth, including advanced training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (e.g., doctor’s appointments, walks)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from clients (when able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Requirements

• Passion to serve others—a true caregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
