Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Visiting Angels’ Longview office provides caregivers for the East Texas area—including Avinger, Longview, Jefferson, Ore City, Gilmer, and surrounding communities. The role is dedicated to compassionate, in‑home care for senior adults and those in need, offering opportunities for personal growth and advanced training in dementia and Alzheimer’s care.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals, accommodating dietary constraints.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cannot complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Requirements
