About the role

We are a non-medical home care agency in Maryland dedicated to providing high-quality care to our clients through the support of our compassionate caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living
• Offer personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, laundry, and other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Valid current Certified Nursing Assistant or Geriatric Nursing Assistant license
• Valid current CPR and First Aid certifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid current driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand directions in English
• Physical ability to lift and transfer clients
• Ability to contribute to a calm environment for the client and instill confidence in Visiting Angels’ ability to meet the client’s needs
• Enthusiasm for working with elderly and disabled people
• Ability to work professionally, cooperatively, and effectively with others
