Certified Nursing Assistant | CNA

About the role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will deliver and assist residents with daily needs, including personal care, preparation for activity and social programs, and routine activities in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements. You will provide basic nursing care to residents within the scope of nursing assistant responsibilities and perform basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and assist residents with daily personal care needs
• Prepare residents for activity and social programs
• Perform routine activities in compliance with standards of practice, state, and federal regulations
• Provide basic nursing care under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor

Requirements

• Active and in good standing Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
• Prior experience as a CNA in a long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisted living (AL), or memory care (MC) setting preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
