Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Burlington Health & Rehabilitation Center in Burlington, Vermont. As a CNA, you will provide supportive services to our residents, assisting with daily living activities, and performing duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive services to nurse(s) and other staff as needed and perform duties as assigned
• Aid residents with or perform activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, in accordance with care plans and established policies and procedures
• Aid with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
• Cooking and serving meals, including setting up and cleaning up, meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and documenting meal intake
• Delivering nutritional supplements to residents at assigned times and providing assistance as necessary to ensure intake; document intake accordingly
• Aiding with weighing residents according to facility policy and recording weight in designated locations; reporting weight changes to nurse and supervisor

Requirements

• Currently certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant in long-term care
