Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About the role
Star Multi Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist patients with personal care needs, prepare nutritious meals, document services, measure vital signs, and perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Aid patients with bathing, elimination needs, transfers, dressing, undressing, and ambulation.
- Prepare and assist with feeding patients according to the personal care plan.
- Accurately and promptly document services provided in accordance with company policy and personal care plan.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information.
- Measure and record patient’s temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure as directed by the RN Supervisor and per the personal care plan.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Successfully completed a state-approved certified nursing assistant program.
- At least one year of relevant experience.
- Must attend a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education programs annually to maintain certification.
