About the role

Join our team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and be the heart of our nursing homes. This is a part-time day shift position (6:30 AM - 7 PM) with opportunities for growth and making a daily difference in residents' lives.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Promote a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms regularly.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other assigned information.
• Routinely turn and position residents as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff as requested.
• Complete other special projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state in which the facility operates (valid KY CNA/SRNA license required).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.
• Ability to function independently, with personal integrity, and work effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Pay

Earn up to $22.25/hour base pay (depending on experience) plus applicable shift differential, with a salary range up to $24.25/hour.
