Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

The selected candidate will perform various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients of all ages under the direction and guidance of professional and nursing personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Assist in the Emergency Department as a circulator
• Provide transportation of patients to radiology and other units

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• BLS certification required
• High School Diploma required
• Medical Terminology knowledge required

Qualifications

• Unit Secretary experience preferred, including clerical and computer experience

Schedule

This is a full-time, day shift position working 7:00am – 7:00pm. Rotating weekends and holidays will be required. Other hours may be required for the effective operation of the department.
