Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Rio Hondo Subacute and Nursing Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. We are hiring for all shifts with a salary range of $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.
About the role
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will prioritize resident service and ensure residents and their families receive the highest quality care. Under the direction of a licensed nurse, you will deliver efficient and effective nursing care to meet the personal needs and comfort of residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with or perform Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
- Assist residents with ambulation and transfers.
- Support licensed nurses with treatments and procedures as needed.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
- Promote a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.
Requirements
- Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program.
- Current CNA certification.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment.
- Nursing Assistant experience providing direct care to multiple residents.
- Behavioral care or memory care experience.
