Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Wilson Care and Rehab in Wilson, KS is hiring a full-time or part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

About the Role

This rehabilitation nursing position works 12-hour shifts with 3-day weekends every other weekend. You will never work more than 3 days in a row and receive 7 days off every 14 days. The role averages 2 hours of overtime every week.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care
• Perform care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card
• Visit with residents and reposition as required
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight
• Conduct range of motion as needed
• Observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
• Uphold facility policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues

Qualifications

• Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program
• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly
• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required
