Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

McPherson Health and Rehab in McPherson, KS is seeking a day‑shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their team. The facility offers a dynamic, caring clinical team that values its employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) including washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care and catheter care.
• Perform care as defined by the resident plan of care/CNA assignment card.
• Visit with residents and reposition as required.
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.
• Conduct range of motion as needed.
• Observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements and facility policies and procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
• Take pride in the difference made in residents’ lives.

Requirements

• Completed a state‑approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.
• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.

Pay

Competitive salary of $18.00–$19.80 per hour, depending on years of service.

Schedule

Full‑time position working 12‑hour shifts, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
