About the role
Kaw River Care and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our rehabilitation nursing team in Edwardsville, Kansas. This night shift position involves providing total care to residents, including activities of daily living (ADLs), and building relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Provide care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card
- Visit with residents and reposition as required
- Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight
- Conduct range of motion as needed
- Observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
- Assist thoroughly with bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care
Qualifications
- Completed a state-approved Nurse Aide Training Program
- Current Kansas certification/registration to practice (if lapsed, the facility can help reinstate it)
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
- Desire to work with the elderly
Pay
$20.00 - $23.50 per hour.
