Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the Role

Haviland Care Center is seeking full‑time night Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a dynamic and caring clinical team. Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care.
• Perform care as defined by the resident’s plan of care or CNA assignment card.
• Visit with residents and reposition as required.
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.
• Conduct range of motion as needed.
• Observe and report changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state‑approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly; experience in geriatric nursing preferred but not required.
• Trustworthy, respectful, dependable, professional, team‑player attitude.
• Ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively.

Pay

$16.00 to $17.60 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time night shifts, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., every other weekend.
