Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

We invite you to join our team of dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants who contribute to the well-being of our residents. Our facility offers competitive wages starting at $20.40-$26.40 per hour, along with various benefits including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug insurance.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Ambulates residents for short distances within the facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licenses/Certification: Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
• Experience: Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff.

Pay

Starting Wages at $20.40-$26.40 per hour. Wage calculation includes a $3.40/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive, a $2/hr Perfect Attendance Bonus, and a $3/hr weekend warrior program.
