Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
The Jewish Home for Rehabilitation and Nursing, supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, offers full-time, part-time, and per-diem opportunities. New full-time hires on the 7 AM–3 PM shift receive a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Shifts available: 7 AM–3 PM, 3 PM–11 PM, and 11 PM–7 AM. PRN shifts require one weekend per month. Pay ranges from $20–$25/hour, with an additional $2/hour for full-time employees who waive benefits. Evening shifts receive a $1.50 differential, and night shifts receive a $2 differential. Daily pay options are also available.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
- Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
- Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well-being for all residents.
- Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of New Jersey.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high-quality resident care.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
