Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Responsibilities

• Providing routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with established procedures
• Documenting resident care accurately
• Creating and maintaining a calm, supportive environment
• Preparing residents for meals, serving trays, and assisting with feeding as needed
• Monitoring residents' personal care and hygiene, including bathing assistance
• Assisting with transportation, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transferring residents
• Promptly responding to resident calls and reporting changes in condition
• Measuring and recording vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure

Qualifications & Skills

• Current CNA certification in New York State in good standing
• Dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and committed to resident well-being
• Genuine interest in assisting residents, including those who are ill, injured, or emotionally upset
• Patience, cheerful disposition, and teamwork orientation
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt under pressure, and maintain flexibility
