Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About the role
We are affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a 47-year industry leader with over 200 locations across the U.S. We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Provide direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State.
- Maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation.
Qualifications
- Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
