Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About the role
We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Life Care Center of Reno. Located in the Biggest Little City in the World, we are a five-star skilled nursing facility rated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver routine daily nursing care to assigned patients as directed
- Provide direct care to patients including bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
- Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
- Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
- Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
- Maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment
- One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
