Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

As a CNA, you will be responsible for assisting our nursing staff in providing high-quality care to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and providing emotional support to our guests
• Monitoring and reporting changes in guests' condition or behavior to the nursing staff
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and practices
• Assisting with mealtime, snacks, and hydration, and providing company to our guests during mealtimes
• Participating in care conferences and contributing to the development of individualized care plans

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of South Dakota
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with guests, families, and interprofessional healthcare teams
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition guests as needed, and to respond to emergency situations
