Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

About the role

Astoria Place Living and Rehab is seeking a CNA Mentor to support the clinical department. This position involves conducting 1-on-1 orientations and trainings with new CNA's, motivating and guiding them, performing Activities of Daily Living, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1-on-1 orientations and trainings with new CNA's
• Motivate and provide guidance to new CNA's
• Perform Activities of Daily Living
• Observe changes in condition
• Ensure a safe environment
• Maintain ongoing education

Requirements

• Unencumbered State of Illinois C.N.A. certificate
• C.P.R. Certification
• One (1) year of C.N.A. experience (preferable)
