About the Role

Interim HealthCare is a pioneer in the home care industry, offering rewarding careers that prioritize work-life balance. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will care for seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic conditions in their homes. Duties include assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Care for seniors and those with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases
• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating, and nutritional intake
• Ambulate, transfer, and perform range of motion exercises
• Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document changes
• Work with a team of home health nurses and aides to ensure care plans are followed
• Observe patients and notify supervisors of issues requiring changes in care, medications, or medical equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Georgia
• Current hands-on CPR and First Aid certification
• Current TB screening within 12 months
• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role (preferred)
• Valid Georgia driver’s license, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle
• Caring nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
