Responsibilities
- Care for seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, or chronic diseases in their homes.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, nail/skin care, eating, and nutritional intake.
- Help with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
- Monitor vital signs, measure intake/output, check blood glucose levels, and document any changes.
- Collaborate with home health nurses and aides to ensure the patient's care plan is followed.
- Observe patients and report any issues requiring a change in care, medication, or medical equipment to the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Montana.
- CPR certification.
- Valid Montana driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and essential qualities including kindness, empathy, compassion, honesty, integrity, dignity, respect, patience, and understanding.
