Essential Functions
- Maintain records of residents' and clients' health and behavior
- Communicate health and behavior information to interdisciplinary team
- Follow residents and clients' individual care plans
- Know and implement emergency and evacuation procedures
- Have a working knowledge of long-term care regulations
- Attend required orientation, training, and maintain Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Use resources responsibly and report needed items to the Director
- Maintain a positive work and living environment
- Assist with household and housekeeping duties
- Clean resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and furniture/furnishings according to job standards/procedures
- Follow manufacturer's procedural guidelines when using tools, handling chemicals, operating equipment, removing debris, and removing soiled linens
