Responsibilities
- Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence, including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
- Communicate changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
- Perform assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
- Accountable for completion of CNA documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADLs.
- Communicate with residents, families, and co-workers utilizing a pleasant, positive approach.
- Respect Residents' Rights for Privacy and Dignity.
Requirements
- Current State of Delaware CNA Certificate
- Current CPR Card
Pay
$19–22.50 per hour
