Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

At Encore Parkside, we know that CNAs are the heart of exceptional resident care. You are the first smile a resident sees in the morning, the helping hand they depend on throughout the day, and the person who notices the little things that can make a big difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide a balance of emotional and physical support that allows an individual to function at their highest level of independence, including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating/feeding, bed mobility/positioning, continence care/toileting, behavioral support, ambulation/wheelchair mobility.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents.
• Communicate changes in residents' condition and function to nurse immediately when noted.
• Perform assigned tasks as directed by Unit Manager.
• Accountable for completion of CNA documentation which includes progress notes, percentage of meals and fluid taken, bowel sheet, and ADLs.
• Communicate with residents, families, and co-workers utilizing a pleasant, positive approach.
• Respect Residents' Rights for Privacy and Dignity.

Requirements

• Current State of Delaware CNA Certificate
• Current CPR Card

Pay

$19–22.50 per hour
