About the role

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Embassy of Wyoming Valley, you will provide basic patient care under the direction and supervision of the nursing staff. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes and have the chance to make a difference in the lives of residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the direction and supervision of nursing staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Communicate information concerning a resident’s condition.

Requirements

• Certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, and willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Willingness to seek out new methods and incorporate them into existing nursing practices.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.

$21.50 – $23.50 per hour
