About the role

The primary purpose of your job position is to treat and document care for residents with impaired ability to perform at an independent level due to disease process, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents with impaired independence.
• Document resident care accurately and thoroughly.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Interact tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
• Work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Relate information concerning a resident’s condition.
• Incorporate new methods and principles into existing nursing practices.

Requirements

• Must possess a certificate for Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Must be a licensed CNA in accordance with state laws.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.
• Must be willing to handle difficult residents.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.

Pay

$17.50–$21.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Part-time, full-time, and per diem positions available.
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available.
• 12-hour shifts.
