About the Role
Continuum Hospice is seeking a Full Time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with the nursing team, you'll ensure each patient's physical, emotional, and personal needs are met with respect, empathy, and professionalism.

- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm
- Coverage Area: Fall River

Responsibilities
- Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
- Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
- Be Dedicated to Customer Service: Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure optimal patient satisfaction.
- Provide Support for Families: Impact patients' families by sharing knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Ensure every detail is documented according to agency and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Holds current unencumbered C.N.A. certificate in the state
- Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting (hospice experience a plus)
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated
- Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation
Pay
$23.00 – $26.00 per hour (average pay range). Final compensation determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and specific responsibilities; exact rate discussed and confirmed at conclusion of interview process.
