CNA Qualifications & Responsibilities

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active and unrestricted New Jersey CNA certification
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to quality resident care
• Absorb and follow through on daily personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Set up resident rooms with necessary supplies, including blankets, toiletries, medical equipment, and ensure the space is clean, safe, and comfortable
• Maintain accurate documentation of residents' conditions and report changes to the nursing team
• Encourage social interaction and emotional well-being among residents
• Work in accordance with state, local, and federal healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with fellow caregivers and healthcare professionals to provide the highest level of care
