About the role
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
Responsibilities
- Aid residents with daily activities such as meal services, bathing, grooming, ambulation, toileting, and general hygiene.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the PointClickCare (PCC) electronic medical record system.
- Support a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for all residents.
- Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and report any changes to nursing staff.
- Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain resident confidentiality.
- Uphold a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with residents, families, and coworkers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or clinical staff.
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in the State of Indiana.
- Prior experience in long-term care or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
- Caregiver with a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
