Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary
The facility is hiring Full Time and Part Time Certified Nursing Assistants. The position offers a 12 hour schedule and a flexible option. Annual raises and a 401k are provided.
Essential Functions
- Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents' needs.
- Ensures call lights are within reach of residents.
- Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Explains procedures to residents.
- Affords assistance in residents' activities of daily living.
- Affords assistance in bowel and bladder functions.
- Affords assistance in preparing for and transporting to appointments, activities, and social programs.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Prior experience as LTC nursing assistant preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
- Good standing in the state registry is required.

Pay and Schedule
The pay scale does not top out with annual raises every year. Baylor Weekend shift also available. Work 36 hours, get paid for 44.
Position Purpose
Ensures that resident's personal care needs are being met in accordance with Residents' wishes and Care Plan Objectives.
