Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) provide quality personal support services by working with the patient care team to assess and implement care plans by providing a positive & supportive environment. Our clients have varying levels of physical limitations and will require assistance with activities of daily living with a special approaches for our clients’ unique needs. The CNA is the front-line representative of the RN supported patient care team often serving as the intermediary between the patient and family, and the AHS's care team members ensuring the CNA is performing duties that align with the skills earned with their license. This role is expected to: Assist clients with required attention and activities of daily livingMedication remindersAssist clients with all activities of daily livingUphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards. In addition, emotional support and truly being engaged while getting to know and making a lasting impact on the client. Position Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License - Accepted in GAClear/Negative TB TestValid CPR/First Aid for Pediatrics, AdultsPass Federal Background Check/Drug ScreenMust be able to lift 55 lbsExperience w/ challenging clients is helpful but not necessaryMust have reliable transportation The right candidate will have some flexibility in scheduling given the nature of the job and frequent changes in the client's life.
