Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and assists with feeding patients as necessary.
• Ambulates, turns, and positions patients.
• Provides fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Checks vital signs and weight.
• Records intake and output information.
• Utilizes resources and materials to provide patient comfort.
• Transports patients.
• Answers patients' call lights and requests.
• Reports observations of the patient to the nursing supervisor.
• Completes electronic charting of completed cares, reports, logs, and records.

Requirements

• Certified as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) through the State of Wisconsin.
