Certified Nursing Assistant, (CNA)

About the role

As a CNA, you will deliver direct care to residents and patients, prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.

Responsibilities

• Care for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aid in daily tasks, such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
• Perform light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status
• Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assist in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Florida CNA license
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Completion of new hire orientation

Up to $21 per hour

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 6:30 p.m. – 7 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. – 7 p.m.
