Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
About the role
The Certified Home Health Aide will provide or assist in activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care, and nail care. They will also assist with toileting, positioning and transfers, and exercise and range of motion activities as directed by the Hospice Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provides or assists in ADL activities
- Assists with prescribed exercise and ROM activities
- Assists with light housekeeping tasks
- Feeds and assists with meals
- Monitors vital signs and reports changes to the Hospice Nurse
- Aids in medication administration
- Assists with patient laundry
- Documents all activities and reports
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- State Certified CHHA license
- Professional experience in hospice or home health, preferred
- No experience necessary but 1 year of experience preferred
- Willingness to travel
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
Must be able to perform all duties required for this position without restrictions.

- Knowledge of hospice and home health care practices
