About the role
This 0.9 FTE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is located on the 4NW General Surgery/Women’s/Pediatrics unit, which is a 31-bed mixed acuity care unit specializing in orthopedic and neurological patients. The unit is proud to represent two Centers of Excellence recognized by the Joint Commission: the Joint Replacement Center of Excellence for both Hip and Knee, and the Stroke Center of Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the staff and patients on the unit
- Work independently providing resource information and general nursing care to patients
- Complete clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits, and patient processes
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
- Strong interest in customer service, ability to multitask, work independently with little supervision
- Passionate about providing excellent patient care and demonstrating compassion at the end of life

Pay
$18.00/hr (increases with experience)
Schedule
Hours: This 0.9 FTE commits to 36 hours per week of 12 hour shifts (1900-0730). Every other weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
