Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - 13-week Evening-shift Temp - Saluda

About the role

Works under the supervision of Nursing Manager, Supervisor, RN, LPN and is ultimately responsible to the Director and the Assistant Director of Nursing, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• Affords assistance with ensuring hygiene, appearance, safety and nutritional needs of residents are met.
• Provides resident care and services to maintain or improve resident functional status to highest practical ability.
• Documents accurately in EMR resident's ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.
• Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years Prior Nurse Aide work experience (Required)
• Licenses and Certifications: Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required) and CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)
