Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - Activities Aide - LTC - Intermittent

Pay

Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.40

Responsibilities

• Engage long-term care residents in meaningful activities.
• Keep staff informed about current activities and use available volunteers.
• Know the organizational structure within the facility.
• Understand the purpose of activity programs, the needs of residents, methods of motivation, and available local community resources.
• Work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Carry out assigned duties and responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with older people and on activities programs.
• Experience using basic craft materials.
• A current state of Alaska driver's license.
• A food handlers card within three (3) months of hire.
• A current BLS CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in long-term care facilities.

Skills

• Knowledge of organizational structure within the facility.
• Ability to motivate residents.
• Understanding of local community resources.
