Certified Nursing Assistant

Position Overview

The main function of this position is to provide direct and indirect care under supervision of the nurse to a selected group of residents. This role can be in skilled care department or assisted living department.

Qualifications & Skills

• CNA Certification in the state of Illinois
• CPR certified, Accredited by American Heart Association
• Reading, writing, and comprehension skills needed to use medical terminology on the job
• Ability to do simple arithmetic
• Good communication skills
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required
• General knowledge of the needs of general patients
