Currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a great opportunity in the Munster, IN area. The ideal candidate will hold an active Indiana CNA Certificate or have completed an approved education course for state licensing examination.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily care to assigned residents, including personal hygiene care, meals, and nutrition
- Assist with safe transfers and maintaining a clean and healthy environment
- Assist patients with hygiene needs
- Measure and record patients' temperatures and blood pressures
- Observe and record patients' reactions to medications and treatment
- Practice safety and infection control policies
- Maintain scheduling flexibility to meet unit patient care needs
- Participate in the organization and prioritization of patient and unit activities
- Receive supervision from nursing personnel on the unit
Requirements
- Active Indiana CNA Certification or graduate from a State-approved CNA program
- Excellent customer service and positive attitude
- Outgoing and team-oriented personality
