About the role

Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community offering long-term care, assisted living, sub-acute rehabilitation, and home health services. The primary role of a Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide medical and physical care to residents to meet their daily needs and enable them to function at the highest possible level. The CNA must be willing to perform duties in long-term care, assisted living, or sub-acute rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and physical care to residents
• Assist residents with daily needs
• Support residents in functioning at the highest possible level

Schedule

• 5 days/week with rotating weekends
• 8-hour shifts available:
  • 6:15 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
  • 6:00 a.m.–2:15 p.m.
  • 2:00 p.m.–10:15 p.m.
  • 2:15 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Pay

Starting at $18/hour, based on experience. A sign-on bonus of $2,500–$5,000 is available, paid in monthly installments over one year following the first 90 days for full-time positions only.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in Kansas
• High School diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification
• Empathetic approach to the elderly
• Ability to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others
