Certified Nursing Assistant

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Certified Nursing Assistant to work in a correctional setting in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties within the scope of practice to ensure quality patient care, under the direct supervision of medical or nursing personnel.
• Complete required documentation in the electronic health record or other modality.
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment, take patient histories, vital signs, and record chief complaints.
• Perform office procedures, tests, and examinations.
• Maintain adequate supplies for exam/procedure rooms.
• Transcribe provider orders and schedule return appointments.
• Perform venipunctures and lab tests.
• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Requirements

• Copy of current, valid, unrestricted license as a CNA issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing or issued by a participating Compact State.
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
• Copy of current, completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators.
• Copy of current, completed First Aid Certification.
• Minimum one year of past work experience in this position.

Pay

$21/hr

Schedule

• Day & Night shifts
• Must commit to 3x12-hour shifts weekly for a minimum of 13 weeks.
