Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

The home health aide/certified nursing assistant carries out supportive duties for the nursing department of the Haven Specialty Home Care by performing specified, non-clinical medically related skills under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse or other Haven Specialty Home Care designated health care professional.

Job Location: Ada, OK area

Responsibilities

• Maintain and conduct self in a professional manner at all times and situations
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient, employee and Haven Specialty Home Care's information
• Adhere to all Haven Specialty Home Care's policies and procedures including but not limited to the HIPAA privacy rule
• Participate in all Haven Specialty Home Care's in-service programs
• Provide assistance with personal care, hygiene, and activities of daily living
• Encourage client participation in activities to the extent to which the client is able
• Perform duties of a home health aide/certified nursing assistant as per their scope of practice and state law
• Assist client to bed, commode, chair and assist with ambulation
• Turn and position bed bound clients
