Certified Nursing Assistant
Responsibilities
Take and record frequent vital signs including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation.
Assist patients with bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, oral care, and feeding support.
Monitor and document intake and output while observing for and reporting any changes in patient condition.
Support nursing staff in providing high-quality care to patients requiring close observation in a step-down unit.
Requirements
Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required.
Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.
