Certified Nursing Assistant

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home support to clients. We are looking for someone dependable and consistent to help these families. As a member of our home care team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing hands-on personal care and working independently in the client's home.

Schedule

• Albemarle CNA client: Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
• Locust CNA client: Monday–Friday, 4:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.; Saturday–Sunday, 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
• New London client: Saturday–Sunday, 12:00 p.m.–2:30 p.m.
• Albemarle client needing backup: Monday–Friday

Pay

Cases are $19/hr.

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home management tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making, etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance

Qualifications

• Current CNA license listed in good standing with the board
