Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position in Liberty, MO. Responsibilities

• Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
• Provides assistance in toileting; positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed‑bound resident/patient.
• Assists with prescribed exercise and ROM activities as taught by the Hospice Nurse.
• Assists with light housekeeping of the individual's personal unit or room, including changing bed linen and patient laundry as needed.
• Feeds and assists with meals.
• Obtains temperature, pulse, and respirations under supervision of the Hospice Nurse.
• Reports any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Hospice Nurse (and facility nurse if applicable) and documents on the Home Health Aide Certification of House form, including date, time, and recipient.
• Assists or reminds the patient to take medication in compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State Certified CNA license.
• Experience in hospice or home health preferred; 1 year preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
