Job Opportunity
CNA Certified Nursing Assistant
Starting Pay: Competitive rates starting at $20, based on experience
Differentials Offered: Shift Differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends
Additional Shifts Differential: Extra $5.00/hour for any shifts worked outside scheduled hours
Available Shifts: 7-3 Full-time 32 hours
3-11 Part-time 8 Hours/week Every Other Weekend
Responsibilities
- Assists residents in daily bathing, grooming, dental care, bowel and bladder functions, dressing, walking and wheelchair use, positioning in and out of bed.
- C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant documents personal care given according to facility policies.
- Provides nursing functions as directed including perineal care, making beds, turning residents, measures and records temperature, weight, pulse and respiration.
- C.N.A. Certified Nurse’s Assistant observes and reports to supervisor changes in residents’ condition, including any skin breakdowns.
- Reports immediately all accidents or injuries.
- Records all necessary charting entries.
- Answers all call lights regardless of assignment.
- Responds to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
- No history of patient/resident abuse as per State Registry.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and following oral and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Team player with good cooperation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards residents and their support networks.
Additional Expectations
- Per diem staff are expected to fulfill (2) weekend shifts monthly to meet requirements.
