Provides direct patient care and clerical support to ensure a safe, organized, and patient-centered environment. Supports the mission, vision, guiding principles, and standards of behavior of Amery Hospital & Clinic while assisting nursing staff with patient care activities, coordinating services, and responding promptly to patient needs. Services include patient assistance, vital sign monitoring, documentation, unit organization, customer reception, and support of daily nursing operations. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support high-quality patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and assistance to nursing staff
  • Monitor and document vital signs
  • Maintain unit organization and cleanliness
  • Coordinate services and respond to patient needs promptly
  • Assist with customer reception and daily nursing operations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and satisfaction

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of further healthcare coursework
  • Current CNA certification
  • BLS certification

Qualifications

  • 3 years of CNA experience preferred

Schedule

0.65 FTE / 26 hours weekly with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation based on department policy. Mid shift hours: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM.
