About the role
The role involves providing compassionate care to residents in an assisted living facility, assisting with daily activities, administering medications, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist residents with meals and medication administration
- Maintain cleanliness and order within the living quarters
- Document resident care activities and progress in the health records
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance caregiving skills
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
